Job Description
As a Salesforce Developer at Softbay, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our Salesforce platform aligns with our business objectives and enables efficient sales, marketing, and customer service processes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Salesforce Customization: Customize and configure the Salesforce platform to meet the unique needs of the organization, including the development of custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications to ensure data consistency and streamline business processes.
- Apex Development: Develop Apex code and triggers to create custom business logic and automation in Salesforce.
- Lightning Component Development: Design and build Lightning components to enhance user experience and interface design.
- Salesforce Communities: Implement and maintain Salesforce Communities to facilitate collaboration and self-service for customers, partners, and employees.
- Data Management: Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce by defining data governance policies and data cleansing procedures.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Salesforce best practices, new features, and troubleshooting.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure Salesforce security and compliance standards are met and maintained, including role hierarchy, sharing rules, and permission sets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful Salesforce projects.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and data manipulation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
